Tonight! 1/1/11! We Party!

I posted this to suspects a couple days ago, but neglected to mention it here.

Why yes, thank you for asking. We are, in fact, having our nth annual
traditional come-as-you-are (even-if-that's-hung-over) New Year's Day party.

You were already planning on being there, yes?

As I was recycling this from last year's invitation (and the year before's, etc), I was wondering what "n" was in "nth annual", because I've honestly forgotten. We used to say things like "7th annual very-nearly-traditional", but switched to "nth" sometime before 01/01/01, and I don't seem to have saved any older suspects mail. Bummer, because n is somewhere around 20, but it would be nice to know for sure.

wasn't the first one sometime after you bought the house? That might be a help. I just love how your neighborhood has changed over the years, that I notice it so much The house with the Charlie Brown holiday decorations, the house that used to outline with lights so well it looked like an architect's drawing, the bright pool blue house, all marks on the was to your house.
