We're finally replacing the dining room floor. During the latter months of the dog's life, she grew rather...incontinent, and the far corner of the dining room floor was her favorite place to go. On the right, the finish is stripped from alternate applications of dog urine and enzyme cleaner. On the left, the sub-floor is stained.

Over dinner, Kylie wanted to know how we were planning to take up the old flooring. In lieu of dessert, we brought forth the wrecking bar and hammer, and she went to town, clearing 60 tiles before bed.

That's an impressive bit of work. Is she available for house painting?

One of Ann's cats was incontinent (or rather she refused to use the litter box for peeing). To deal with this issue, when the addition (where the cats live) was built, I used marine grade plywood for the sub-floor and put commercial grade vinyl on top of it.

The problem would be keeping various susboid adults from horning in :-).

When I saw the picture, I knew instantly that it was Kylie. I've yet to meet her equal at disassembly.
