So here's some advice that shouldn't need saying: raw oysters in kimchee should be treated like any other raw shellfish, and consumed asap. Like, not two days later.

The fifth round of vomiting is less caustic than the first couple, but dry heaves really suck. Drink water not only to stay hydrated, but also to have something to throw up.

Spent 24 hours in bed, had some gatorade and white rice, but I still feel like a sack of smashed crap.

Yuck! Sounds like no fun.

For a second there I was thinking, would there be some sort of seviche-like effect? But apparently the answer is no.

I found out the hard way that when a can of rubber cement (Best-Test, in case you're wondering) says "vapours harmful: may induce vomiting", the best thing to do is pay heed to the damn label, and don't pull an all nighter with the windows and door shut.
So yeah, I feel for you, and hope you're doing better.

ewww, and ohhhhh.. So sorry. Guess your digestive tract wasn't as iron as it once was. Um, shall I say, Don't Do That Again?

ps: it's the kimchee. I never liked kimchee..

Sympathy - I've been there. Yes, drink lots of water so you'll have something to hurl, because dry heaves are the worst.

Once you can eat again, I suggest salty foods or powerade to replenish electrolytes. Maybe a multivitamin too.

hope you feel better soon!
