kirkcudbrightToday's run: 6.85 mi in 56 min, including some not-insubstantial hills. Yesterday: 30 minutes of 45 sec @ 10.5 mph, 75 sec @ 6.0 mph.
I think I've convinced myself that the thing I want to do on the day before I turn 50 is to run a half-marathon. Which, I admit, is a stretch goal, but I did more than half that, 4 weeks out. OTOH haven't registered yet, because (among other reasons) $70? That's way more than I've paid for bike events of comparable duration.
