another day, another trip to the ER

Today, about 12 hours after getting home from England, Francie sliced her finger open, so off to the hospital again. It bled a lot, but it turned out to be not so serious - more tangential than orthogonal, if you follow. So they super-glued it shut.

Then took Kylie in for a follow-up on her chin, because there was some pus last night, and there was a suture thread sticking out of her chin. (Recall that she had the sutures out on Tuesday.) Most likely it was the end of one of the internal dissolving sutures, that had somehow worked its way out, and detached while the doctor was poking around.
