Request for Comment: We should have a party in May, after we're both back from the UK and all that, to celebrate same plus my 40th birthday. So, of those who are reading this and are close enough to come, which date would suck least, the 8th, 15th, 22nd, or 29th? It's not a democracy, but you do get input (kind of like Iraq).

The 22nd would definitely suck least for us. The 15th is the rally Phi puts on every year and the 29th is Memorial Day weekend (we and lots of other people go away then).

Have fun in the UK. Where are you going?

the 8th is amelia&bressen's party, and eric is in "sunday in the park with george"
my sister graduates on the 22nd so i'll be out of town, and the 29th we'll be in croatia, so i vote for the 15th :)

count me in the list of folks who'll be gone Memorial Day. And there is some chance I'll be out of town on the weekend of the 22nd. But though I will in fact be putting on a road rally on the 15th, I'd probably at least stop in on your party if it was then.

The 15th would work best for our schedule, although none of the weekends actually suck except the 8th, which is a weekend of Scottish dancing in Boston. I/we'd love to come to a party at your place. We're most likely to be able to come, though, if you post a date soon and we can reserve it. :)

Since you asked: the 8th sucks (though in a good way) in that I'll be in Florida celebrating a late Beltane; any other weekend of May seems OK so far...

Francie is going to London and the West Country (Cornwall & Devon) a week from now. I'm cycling from Glasgow to Portsmouth the last week of April into the first week of May.
