kirkcudbrightWe were going to go canoing today, but Francie announced over breakfast that she was dissatisfied with the the design for the chicken house, and wanted to build a much larger chicken house (rather like the one she originally designed a couple years ago).
This sounds too petulant. Francie designed and built the last chicken house, and has done 90% of the work on the Chicken Run. I'm just the unreliable hired labor, so I cleared and leveled the site for the new chicken house. It's a massive 6' x 4' x 6' high, so we should be able to frame it this weekend. It should be inhabited before the Topsfield Fair (God willing and the creek don't rise).
