Yesterday, as threatened, I ran the Earth Rock Run half-marathon. This was a little audacious, considering I'd never run more than 10 miles, and that only twice ever. But what the hell, go for the gusto.

Why didn't I post this yesterday? I could say I was waiting for the official results, or recovering catatonically, but really I was just lame. But now that the results are in...

Official time 1:49:11, or 8:20/mi, which put me in 82nd place overall, out of 371 finishers, and 12th in the 45-49 group (I would have been 6th in the 50-54 group if it was a day later). Not bad.
