kirkcudbrightSo what can I say about the party? As usual, it's gratifying to know we have so many cool friends who are willing to haul all the way out of the city (or all the way in from the yet-further-out burbs.
Starting in the afternoon means we get to see different groups of people. Still, there were a lot of people I didn't get a chance to spend much (or any) time with. It's the downside to having big parties.
On the other other hand, the party ended with a bit of a snog-fest. ;)
Our friends have turned into a bunch of red wine drinkers. Total consumption was 3 bottles beer, 6 bottles hard lemonade 1½ bottles white wine, and 7 bottles red wine (plus 2 gallons cider, ½ gallon eggnog, 1 gallon juice, and over 5 gallons soda).
