Every year, I think Things will Calm Down after Arisia. And they don't. And it's not just the stuff I've been putting off come back to bite me, but it's the normal course of Life - work, aikido, personal stuff, business trips, vacations. How does it go? "Time is what keeps everything from happening at once." Well, that's crap. And the kicker is that, every year, this is a revelation.

Could you *please* convince Ben of this? We too put off a bunch of stuff until "after Arisia" -- important things like rewriting wills, financial stuff, etc. And now he's gone and volunteered for the hotel selection committee, so Arisia is *never* over! Wah!
