  • So I popped up Netscape, and it was still on my LJ friends page from 3 weeks ago. Guess that's the last time I read it. No offense to y'all, that's just the way my life has been going.

  • Tonight was the last class of the summer session of skating. It took 3 or 4 sessions (the better part of a year) to pass Adult 4, but I was passed on Freestyle 1 in one session. I'm faintly agog. OTOH, I can now do a creditable waltz jump and toe loop (waltz jump from a forward inside 3-turn), and my scratch spin is not 100% out of control, so I've come a long way this session. Hopefully next session will be another mixed Freestyle 1 & 2 class, because if they put me with the big kids, I'm going to die.

  • In motorpickle news, I had to drain and remove the fuel tank (again), because there was a slow fuel leak through the fuel tap (the lever that says whether fuel should be taken from the "main tank" [the middle of the tank] or the "reserve tank" [the bottom of the tank]). Anyway, it don't leak no more, and I drove it to work today - 60 miles round trip. I was avoiding the highways, but feeling pretty good by the time I got to Route 3, so I got on, and promptly ran into a 2-mile backup. I wasn't feeling confident/arrogant enough to cut between the lanes, so I sat there and pretended to be a car. It was okay, and I feel better about my riding.

  • Eh, so we were in Wisconsin for a week, and now we've been back for more than a week, and I owe you some pictures. But there are lot of pictures. Tomorrow, you'll have pictures. Tomorrow, or something just like it.
