It's been a couple weeks since we caught Number Six, but we've kept the trap baited just in case (it having been 10 days between #5 and Number Six). Francie called me in the middle of an Arisia meeting to ask if she could release #7 in the woods as usual. I suppose one wild, unsocialized pet is enough, but I was fleetingly tempted to keep it. Its name, of course, would have been Ben.

interesting! perhaps we should rebait and reset our trap as well. we caught one mouse basically every day it was baited and set (except the day that we caught two), and then no mice for about 4 days in a row, so we dismantled it. i'll mention your story to A -- when he's in a good mood, of course, so it doesn't upset him too terribly.

it looked like we caught a set of parents and 4 kids; is that about what you got (except with 5 kids)?
