Speaking as a driver, motorcyclist, bicyclist, equestrian, and pedestrian, I can definitively say that Massachusetts drivers (myself included) are assholes.

With the advent of the new school year, I've started biking to work (three days so far, nothing to write home about, but anyway...). The commute is from Davis Square, through Porter, down Beacon, over to Mass Ave on Windsor, past the 'tute, over the Mass Ave. bridge, down to Boylston St., and around the block to my school's front door.

Well mygoodness! Not only are BosCamberVille drivers assholes, but so are the pedestrians! and the utility and DPW workers! and some of the other cyclists! yow, it's really something—I arrive at work feeling like a rock star just for surviving my commute.

Game Days are the best.
