On the down side, I fished a couple of waterlogged rodents out of the fish pond. From the looks of it, they were a couple days dead. Hard to say exactly, but I'm guessing immature squirrels. But I told Kylie not to look, and she didn't. (She asked, "dead frogs?", I said "worse", and she let it go at that.)

I'm glad you told Kylie not to look; not that I generally advocate keeping children ignorant of such things as death, but I wouldn't have wanted to look either.
