fail to suck

Yes, we had to kill the dog last weekend.

But since then: I've ridden my horse in a parade; had good horse lesson and good aikido lesson from the same fabulous chick on the same fabulous day; played with baby duckies; and received a better job offer than I expected (bonus: while playing with said baby duckies), which I'm inclined to take (the job offer, not the duckies).

And the weather is completely fabulous, and we're gearing up for two weeks in Nova Scotia, plus Baitcon, before starting said non-suck job.

Does life really get any better? In any way that really matters?
